Winsor and Newton’s familiar classic booklet about the composition and permanence of colour appears alongside the pink Flesh Tint. The fourth panel of Genesis features a new American paint called Genesis which remains wet and workable until heated. Its relatively small range of colours includes at least six different flesh tints numbered rather than named. This marks the exodus of familiar variant and more prosaic names such as Skin Colour, Portrait Rose etc. This panel was executed in March 2004 and deliberately remains forever wet.
