Three Fertile Fields: A Neolithic Farm 870x870 w 1230. Real earth pigments bound with acrylic resins on three canvases mounted on an m.d.f. panel with a collage of real vegetable seeds and a real red deer antler tine suspended on stitched string.

This is inspired by the same ideas as Good Earth, illustrated elsewhere. Prehistoric motifs from water containers have been used to create a river and springs fertilising the real earth fields in which real seeds of corresponding colours are sown. Real wild grass seed is scattered outside the fields. The inverted triangle is another prehistoric feminine fertility motif, reinforced by the appropriately positioned and stitched antler tine.
